Marcus is the best cook in Savannah. He serves home cooked meals that taste like what your grandma and mom cooked.
I just tried it today and the food was great and filling. It's definitely comfort food which is nice to have being a student away from home.

Windsor Cafeteria is a modest looking place with not a lot in the way of decorations. The food, however, is delicious. Its fresh, homemade, real comfort food. I had the fried chicken which was delightfully crunchy and well cooked. I also had lima beans which were thankfully not swimming in meat bits. I hate that. The sweet potatoes were a little too sweet for my taste, bordering on dessert, but the yellow squash was spot on. All in all I was pleasantly surprised and i will be back.
Mr Snipes and his staff do a great job. I tell everyone I know about Windsor Cafe.
If I could give a 1 I would. Who cooks soul food with no seasoning?? Chicken and mac and cheese had NO seasoning and the candied yam tasted like it came right out of the can. Don't get me started on my husbands liver and onions. Highly disappointed and a waste of $22.
Best burger, fries, wings and everything! Y'all cook lima beans like my grandmother did!!!!
