I lived here with my wife for two years and have mixed feelings about the experience. We ultimately moved out because of an unreasonable lease increase—our rent was raised by 25%. We tried to negotiate with the leasing office, but they refused to lower the price. We moved into the Windsor at Liberty House approximately a week & a half ago. So far we have enjoyed our time here. While the Windsor isn’t the newest building, it makes up for that with space—the apartments are big. I wanted to give an especially big shout out to Patrick. I have rented in the NYC area for 10 years and have never experienced a worse property management team or company. Steer clear of Windsor Communities at any cost. Do not rent here if you have even one other option. The building management company at Windsor at Liberty house is unresponsive, impossible to reach, and deeply apathetic towards the people who live in the building. I’ve lived at Windsor at Library House for a year now and have been very happy with my stay. Overall, it’s been a great experience—possibly one of the best apartment communities in the Paulus Hook area of Jersey City.
