Dr Michael McAuliffe is the best er doctor. My daughter was in the er 7 times in Charles town and had two neurologist in Winchester He figured out what was wrong and sent her to UVA. He is the best.

I spent 9 days in this hospital waiting to receive, receiving and recovering from triple bypass heart surgery. I can't begin to express the gratitude I feel towards everyone involved with my care. From Dr Kofsky and PA Jeff Fox, to Dave and Jill in ICU, Grace in ultrasound and all the attentive nurses and their assistants who spent many tireless hours making sure I was being cared for 100%. I love you all, but look forward to never having to see you there again! Lol
I took my Wife there at 3:30 am Friday morning to the ER for a chrons attack . This is not new to us . We know what she needs when this occurs. The 2 nurses was awesome but the doctor sucked ! In the world of all the computer stuff how hard is to look up what was last givin to her but instead he gave her other meds that didn’t work . Instead of her having a good day after that she was miserable. Again the 2 nurses were awesome but the doctor can go fly a kite . I give the nurses 5 stars and the doctor a negative 5 . The Doctors and nurses here are above exceptional. They are taking very good care of my brother. They have so much compassion here at Winchester Medical Center. Everyone from the gift shop to the security to the front desk. Much love to all who worked with us.
Its hit or miss in this hell hole. One time its great. In and out with an actual diagnosis. Others they are forever slow when it isn't busy and don't give you any answers. Then the money part...a bill from 5 years ago and now you come after wages? At Christmas time? Seriously? Yes it was owed money but why do you feel its ok to make people broke around this time? Let alone bills not being paid because their isn't enough after you take 25% of the pay. Smh.
