Would be nice if it weren't so incredibly noisy About 6 months ago the building installed noise insulation between apartments in a side-to-side manner. What they didn't fix was the important part with noise coming from the neighbors above and below you. I can't tell the amount of times I have been woken up at 3:00-4:00 am with some very awkward noises. It sounds like they are literally in your room. An OK place if you don't mind some noise transfer. Winchester lofts is overpriced loft living in a less-than-desirable part of New Haven. The building's staff is its best feature. You can tell that they care about their residents, and try very hard to keep them happy. I have generally enjoyed my time living here, apart from one main issue. Our neighbors can hear us just as clearly as we can hear them. There is no privacy, and sleep has been lost on both parties. Beautiful Industrial Building This building is a hidden gem located in the Science Park area of New Haven. It's new construction, close to the highway and just a mile from the center of the city, and is especially dog friendly. The rent is a little high and my only real complaint is that there is no roof deck, outdoor patio space, or pool. But the courtyard is lovely and the common spaces are well kept.
