I called Keith to have him come and repair my dishwasher because it wouldn't drain. When he answered the phone it was very unprofessional but I overlooked that because I was referred to him. He told me he would come between 10 and 11 but showed up at 930am. He came in, pushed the quick wash button watched it run the cycle and told me that if it filled up with water again to call him. He proceeded to charge me a $65 "trip charge" and said it was good for 90 days. Later that day the dishwasher filled up with water and wouldn't... read more

I reached out via Thumbtack (a service I LOVE) and I received a few inquiries, mostly from craftsmen who told me what their fee was and that they would have to come out before an actual quote was given. I was okay with that, but with Keith Wilson, he asked me what the machine was doing and when it was doing it, he told me a couple of things to try and to call him back. I did and he came out, looked at the washer with me present, showed me what the problem was and how he would repair it if I chose him. I offered to pay him on... read more

BEWARE!!! Charged $75 for initial visit (even though he said he wouldn't because he lived 3 miles away), assessed icemaker needed two parts (icemaker and bin). Brought parts, put them in, charged another $450. Icemaker dispensed one tray of ice but spraying water all over left side of freezer wall, freezing ice in bottom of bin around the dispenser. Called him back. Said it was impossible - that it needed new auger motor. Told him I didn't want to put any more parts in until spraying water resolved. Asked for receipt for par... read more

When I asked how much the service fee was he (Keith Wilson) stated that it was $75 but that it would be waived if he did the repair. Then he turns around and charges $150 for the labor to install a $15 part that took less than 30 minutes. And he never bothered to tell me exactly how much the labor would cost or how much the part cost - found all that out AFTER he had performed the work. I will not be using Wilson's Appliance Repair again.
