I lived at Wilshire Manor from 2013-2013. They have changed management and maintenance four times. Management is horrible. I have never met anyone so rude as Angie. The entire time I lived there I had plumbing problems. The maintenance guys don t have any experience. They refused to call a plumber. I finally had to call a plumber myself and pay him. I was tired of walking to McDonalds to use the bathroom. The plumber said there was rotting in the pipes and toilet paper was getting stuck on the jagged edges inside. They said ... read more
These apt are garbage. There is roches, rats, and bed bugs. the landlord is decitful.
It was bad before. I was thinking of moving out. But the lease has not expired yet. However, the property was sold a few monthes ago and everything gets better. We had new boilers, new AC. I think it is owner managed now, but I am not sure. Maintenance guy lives on the property and provides help 24/7. The best thing is the price. All bills paid. Huge floor plan. Good for the families.
Hope you like rats and roaches if you move here. In 4 years we have had 6-7 property managers. The current managers claim they make 2-3 x more then normal because they are "fixing" the property - I guess by kicking everyone out. The Police show up every other day ...call arlington PD and verify it....but it shows under address 17xx not 1736 w. randol mill. I have lived here 13 months now and with in that 13 months we have had No heat during the winter (even the few days it fell below freezing), and had to stay warm by freqently turning on our gas stove(BAD FIRE HAZARD). So far this summer we have had a running A/C for a total of 2 weeks(spread out of course, not all at once). Weve had non-stop problems with Bed bugs, roaches, mice, rodents in the attic, you name it. i live here and it sucks. i have been in two apts here in 4 months. nothing has worked in either apt. my A/C hasnt worked in three weeks. i went and bought two wall units and today they said only one allowed and it has to be in the front room. hmmmm, lemme think. Not happening. they dont have to evict me , im moving. later
