This is a wonderful place and they are true angels for our wildlife. We have brought multiple animals here and they are always kind, caring and compassionate.
Beware, if you bring in an underweight, dehydrated, but otherwise healthy baby animal, they will euthanize...Take your found baby to a rehabber that is trained and will fight for every life.
A great place with wonderful staff that love the wildlife and do their very best every day to help all the injured animals. I am sure it is not easy to do. Thank you!
This is an amazing wildlife center that truly has the well being of the animals at the core of all they do.
We've been going there for years to hike the trails and donate money for their rescue and care operations. And now we just brought in a goose who had ( it turns out) been shot in the wing with lead pellets and is suffering from lead poisoning! They are taking wonderful care of her!
The staff is nice and the animals they help is wonderful.
I recommend this place to everyone that will listen. The work they do here to help all different injured wildlife is so admirable. Take the kids to learn about all the different wildlife that they care for on the premises. My nieces love it.
AMAZING STAFF and grounds. WONDERFUL treatment and care of animals. Very lucky to have a place like this near to the nitty gritty Chicago.
