Such compassionate people at Willowbrook Wildlife Center. I found 2 baby squirrels 🐿 in my yard and didn’t know what to do with them. I called Willowbrook and they immediately said to bring them, they would take good care of them. I was very impressed with the place and the people and was very comfortable leaving the little ones there.

Willowbrook Wildlife Center is awesome! They were very kind and accommodating when I called about a baby robin I had found in the middle of the road that appeared overheated with an eye injury. You can tell they really care about animals

Great place for school age children. Terrific volunteers who show the exhibits and teach young children how small animals and birds can be traumatized by humans...trying to tame birds, running over animals, etc. Shows the hospital setting and diets. There is a small walking tour and a butterfly garden as well. A variety of exhibits for snacks, small animals, etc. Spend about 2 hours here...great for pre-K and up to fourth grade

A wonderful way to educate children and reinforce the message that these are wildlife and not pets. Also they gain an appreciation of how each animal adds to the ecosystem. And it’s just plain FUN

They were extremely helpful and clearly cared about any sort of wildlife animal that came their way. I brought in an injured baby squirrel whose abdomen was cut open. They took it right away without any hesitation. I felt helpless at first when I discovered this adorable baby squirrel near my driveway. I googled places around where I lived and this center to be the most helpful. I am so happy I took it here where they can hopefully perform their magic and release it back into the wild. A young man behind me came in right aft... read more
