We feel blessed to have this restaurant right around the corner from us. The food is delicious; Melissa and her employees are always kind and welcoming. One night we arrived late and were going to leave because it was closing time, but Melissa said "Stay and have dinner with us." We were touched by her warmth and welcome. We ordered from the prepared foods case. It was a very fun and satisfying evening!
Willow Rest has never let me down. I would highly reccomend going for breakfast. Their omelets are to die for, as well as their pancakes and homefrys!
If there was a Cape Ann Award for sustainability, it would go to Willow Rest. Thanks for ditching the styrofoam and other harmful packaging. Doubly thankful for the locally sourced and organic food!

Willow Rest is amazing. Homey & delicious. So many wonderful things in one space. Stop in to browse local jewelry, art & crafts, home made soaps, or artisan food products. Buy some chocolates as gifts or enjoy an artisan ginger beer. They have organic meats and sausages, fresh produce, healthy snacks. Often we stop by for a hot beverage and cider donut or home made cookie for the road. And the meals are wonderful. One year i did almost all of my christmas shopping here. In summer you can eat outside. Truly a wonderful place.

I have loved the Willow Rest for breakfast, lunch and dinner since the day they opened. Great selection of food and local produce, fun, funky and fabulous, with lots of local character. And I love the way they support local businesses and artists of Cape Ann. Thanks Melissa, for all you do!
This is easy, great food, good pricing, good people ! I can't wait to get back and try out their new and incredible dishes ! SoCal is not the same as Gloucester, MA, for food !
