Thank you Melissa and the Willow Rest crew for putting together a safe and delicious picnic lunch for a socially distanced event outdoors last weekend. Everyone raved about the sandwiches, which were carefully wrapped and labeled. The most beautiful vegetable wrap anyone had ever seen. I highly recommend this as a way to safely entertain. Guests selected their own lunch and ate where they wanted, as long as it was not too close to anyone else.
I ordered the number one and number three focaccias, number one with the onions, and they were SPECTACULAR!!! Beautifully made up, and incredibly delicious! And the value was unbelievable! The gazpacho was as delicious as ever and we are looking forward to having the curried chicken salad with the cheddar chive biscuits tonight.

We recommend everything - however..lately: Haddock cakes + beans, turkey meatloaf, stuffed zucchini, Shepard's pie... Just tasted their farro+broccoli and cheese - YUM!!
Got 3 sandwiches to bring back to the job site, Under the Bridge , the Anchor, and a cheeseburger. I work with my dad and sister so most lunches we shoot the breeze. This lunch was literally just the sounds of chewing and happy noises. Fantastic meal 👍👍 greens were super fresh, food was nice and hot, looked great and tasted even better
I ordered a Cesar Salad with bacon and grilled chicken. $17.00. The chicken was previously forozen, thawed out on the spot in the microwave and slapped on the grill for 30 seconds. It was putrid and tough. If you don’t have the chicken prepped as the owner you should have 86’d it from the menu in lieu of bickering with the staff over it, and apologized to the customer rather than serving putrid food. Also, the bickering between the owner and staff and staff with staff is unprofessional.
