Do not go here for an actual emergency. It was disappointing to see an entirely empty ED waiting room, yet none of the 3 patients needing help receiving anything for hours. So disappointing.
Wish I could give this place 0 stars. I guess my 1 star is for having a clean facility. On Tuesday of last week, I fell sideways in my garage and thankfully, I protected my head with my arm, so I didn’t hit it directly on the concrete. I thought I was fine and went about my week, but by Thursday I started feeling very off - so tired I could barely stay awake while sitting up talking with friends. The ER doctor initially refused to address my emergency saying I needed to follow up with my PCP. I informed the doctor my PCP said to go to ER if my issue became severe enough. I have ovarian cysts that are at risk of torsion. Perhaps if I had a female provider in ER, the situation would have been better. I was at home writhing in pain and felt like I was going to pass out- no one wants to go to ER at 4 a.m. I have a high pain tolerance, so if I admit defeat to pain- its pretty bad. I had a nerve block done at bone and joint clinic and that night had the worst migraine of my life after being up until around 5 in the morning vomiting I decided to go to er because my migraines make me vomit but not like that. The er doctor and nurse were mean . I didn’t really get to discuss my concerns with the doctor he just glanced said I don’t think you are having a brain bleed before I could say anything. No tests were done just given IV for nausea and I was discharged. The nurse asked what was in my hair and I said ... read more
