Bad experience, hope hes retired. I felt the worst a human being could feel and went to this doctor for help. I wish I knew then what I know now. I have terrible hypothyroidism and take 3 different type of meds. I just reviewed my labs from when I saw this quack and my labs screamed hypothyroid! Never spent more than 10-15 minutes and didn't address my questions. Felt like a "FILE NUMBER -next, next" Actually advised me NOT to exercise, explained it as NOT GOOD for me if I wanted to avoid low blood sugar episodes and passing out. Never mind explaining the "proper / correct method" of training & exercising. Never wanted to converse about "reversing my diabetes" and managing it through weight loss, diet, and exercise. Had a terrible experience with this physician. He inappropriately forced his hand under my daughter's shirt to get her heartbeat. She was wearing a t-shirt, which does not require skin to stethoscope. He was rude and interrupted me and my daughter at every step. I would never recommend him to anyone. I wish I would have read these reviews prior to taking my 16 yo to see him.

Do not use this Dr or the Southern Endocrinology and Diabetes of Plano. The office staff are especially incompetent and rude. First visit - it was clear he hadn’t looked over anything my family dr had sent to him. He’s very disorganized. On the second visit, they made me wait for 45 minutes in a room and then a staff person came and said “the doctor can’t see you because we have misplaced your labs”. disgraceful behavior by office staff and very disappointed by dr's performance . called to see why no refills for regular insulin medication. When explained to office staff to make correction and change from monthy refill to 3 mnth refill staff blew up said issue was on pharmacy side . instead of agreeing to get corrected hang up on me and what's worse intentionally rejected the refill request by the pharmacy. Was told by pharmacy that dr's office never responded . so they are intentionally

When a patient says he is a child molester, won't fill prescriptions unless come-in, etc., I am not sure what these patients are talking about? I have been seeing Dr. Sheldon for 5-years. He is a great doctor; he asks what is going on with you, reviews your chart thoroughly, perform check-up, has blood drawn. Upon completion of blood work, determines if you need any adjustments. If not, you have your prescription refills. Honest doctor, kind office staff, no wait. Highly recommend him.

It is with great sadness that it took me so long to write this review.. Dr Sheldon is a a child molester and should not be still practicing.. he was brought up on inappropriate behavior charges with the Medical board but just received a slap on the wrist.. we should of had him arrested. Parents beware! Had to leave a star so all can see this

He is rude, arrogant, doesn't seem to actually care about you at all, and is over all terrible. He refuses to fill prescriptions unless you come in and pay for him to sit in the room with you while he basically does nothing to help you. And if you are in an emergency situation, you might as well just go to a hospital, because he won't phone or fax your LIFE SAVING DRUGS into a pharmacy. He is archaic, and will not consider modern therapies. Please, do not put your health in this man's hands!

I HAVE BEEN A PATIENT OF DR.SHELDON'S FOR 10 YEARS. HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN SO HELPFUL AND ANSWERS ALL MY QUESTIONS. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM. I HAVE GIVEN HIS NAME TO A FEW OF MY FRIENDS AND NOW THEY ARE PATIENTS (: HIS STAFF IS ALWAYS FRENDLY AND THEY HELPFUL .
