Dr. Tang provided outstanding retina care. I recently spoke to another doctor, and once visited Boston Eye and Ear, and all said that I should see Dr. Tang and that he is world renowned. I agree wholeheartedly!
Dr. Tang is an exceptional retinal doctor. He recently operated on my left eye and restored my sight which had been seriously impaired by a retinal bleed. Previously, he fixed a partially torn retina in my right eye. If you're serious about keeping your sight you'll neither find a finer surgeon nor more experienced and skillful one than Dr. Tang. I'm afraid that my experience was like that of many others. He is too rushed and dismissive of his patients. He must have skipped the classes in medical school about the importance of some semblance of a bedside manner with patients. Look elsewhere if you have retina problems.
Dr. Tang is one of the rudest, most pompously doctors I have ever encountered. He was extraordinarily rude and told me I was fat and should Lise weight. He said he knows everything and couldn’t possibly do anything to help me. Do not go to him if you can help it!
Dr tang is an extremely talented doctor, early on in my first visit I felt comfortable and with no doubt agreed to have surgery for a macular hole that happened very suddenly . My surgery was successful & my vision in that eye has remained consistent with success I could not be happier. His office staff is very organized & all scans are completed carefully & quick so your visit with him will be informative when you leave . I had cataract surgery in late June 2023 which did not go as well as I expected. I scheduled a visit to Dr. Tang as a follow up, as I was having difficulty with the cataract repaired eye. He quickly realized my retina was detaching. After a number of procedures & subsequent follow- appointments, I am having no difficulty whatsoever. After a detached retina surgery my eye sight has returned to better than normal. Dr. Tang is all business and is by far best retina surgeon money can buy. I wouldn’t trust anyone else. He has performed a miracle considering my condition,Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Thang. He is competent and very thorough. I felt very secure and the surgery was a great success. I would highly recommend him for retina and cataract surgery.
Dr. Tang was effective in my treatmentStaff polite and helpfulWent to Dr. Tang for evaluation of clouded vision. Diagnosed at 1st as infection, but antibiotics did not correct problem. After a few days he seems to have rereviewed my case and suggested a biopsy and found Ocular Lymphoma.With that knowledge I was able to obtain treatments at Dana Farber
