My house wasn’t finished till 4 months after I was supposed to close. I’m not sure what’s worse, the horrible stench, the terrible location, the fact that my property value is $50k less than the loan, the package thieves, the car burglaries, or the horseshit HOA they go with. I have never felt more uncomfortable anywhere and that is because of the HOA they go with. This is absolutely the worst builder to deal with. They will end up costing you money in the long run. Please stay far away.
My husband and I purchased a home in Prado. We built from scratch and from start to finish we could not have been happier with our experience. The sales staff is AMAZING and the construction team was quick to address any concerns that came up. The quality of the home shows and the neighborhood is great! We’ve already met many of the neighbors and love the community feel! We highly recommend Prado to anyone looking to purchase!
I am still waiting on warranty issues to be repaired since july 2019. What's the hold up? The work was scheduled but no one ever shows up. I have left work numerous days and no one shows up.
It’s very disappointing and frustrating that Polygon Homes a division of William Lyon Homes decided to move the mailboxes of over 50 homeowners (nearly 3 years after many have moved into their homes) a half mile away to a poorly lit area with unfinished sidewalks. This move was made unanimously without consulting the homeowners association which has been in place for 2 years and after ignoring a cease and desist letter to allow residents to voice concerns.
We moved in to our new William Lyon Home in July. We had our first Halloween in our new home and had a wonderful night! My husband went all out on his pumpkin carving this year. We’ve had a great experience from buying the home to following up with fix-it issues. Great sales team, great builders, great repairs.
My home was built in 2013. I have multiple cracks in walls, ceiling, cement foundation, stucco and cracks on the walls between the windows. Not to mention everything else going wrong like leaky water drip system I’ve haven’t been able to use for over the past year. So many more things are broken. Everything seems to be falling apart. I don’t ever recommend buying from them cheap houses makes sense why they only cover everything for 3 years!
Zero pride. Zero integrity. For a home builder who sub-contracts everything, one would think they would expect more since it is their name on the line. Obviously not. Have a looksee at wlhpride.com to see the outstanding pride and construction they are delivering.
My husband and I purchased a William Lyon home in the Prado community of Austin. We had a really good experience along the way. The sales staff was on top of it and kept us updated on the construction process. We had some minor delays due to the city but they compensated us for it. The construction managers were great too, quick to fix just about everything that our inspections brought to light. The only thing I wish were different is you cannot change anything, the homes are spec built and you get what you get. We wanted to... read more
