Dr.Shelton is great! Hand surgery went extremely well, he talked to me often to make sure I was comfortable, was not having any pain and to lessen my anxiety over being awake during surgery. He really cares about his patients and I hope to have my other hand surgically repaired soon!
Dr Shelton is one of the best hand surgeons I've met he is clear concise and speaks clearly on any. procedure he fixed my hand after. I ran it though a table saw and although it is stiff I have 80% use and 65% dexterity it was bad ! And even after the emergency room Dr messed up ! locally I'm my town in putting gauze with nothing to keep it from adhering to the wound ( not good very painful) but Dr Shelton was 100% in his patient care and response to questions ,very caring ,so I'm going to go back for him to fix my shoulder ... read more
Dr. Shelton and staff are wonderful. He was able to identify the problems I was having with my hand immediately and was put on his surgery schedule quickly. Because I have complications due to RA and other autoimmune issues, I have a relatively rare condition that, under most circumstances, would have been misdiagnosed and cost me precious time having it repaired. Dr Shelton is wonderful. Great pre-op experience. Post op was frustrating. Directions were slim and the nurse seemed like she wanted me out of recovery fast.
