My first visit was awesome. He was warm and very attentive to my issues and gave me the information I needed to take the next step in what I wanted to do. As he told me what my options where we agreed to do what I wanted. He was very honest with me and and I respect that. Thank you so much for all your help.
Dr. Petersilge is a Very good surgeon. He has replaced both my hip and knee due to injury. Both surgeries went very well, much better than I had expected. He's a very patient oriented Doctor, explaining all procedures in a fashion that is comfortable to understand. I would and have recommended friends to visit if ever necessary. And you get a tee shirt! Been there, done that.
Dr. Petersilge is borderline perfect, extraordinary skill, compassionate, a great listener to individual concerns,; the best surgeon I have known in my 42 years of being a nurse.
Dr. Petersilge is the pro of the pros. My knee replacement went as well as can be and after 4 months I am almost at 100 % recovery. I was well informed about the procedure and treated with care and respect by the entire team. If you need a replacement you cannot do better than Dr. Pertersilge and University Hospital at Ahuja.
Went to this quack in December due to a change in our insurance coverage. After speaking with him for over 45 minutes, we came to a game plan that I would loose 30 pounds by April 3rd the following year which was to be my surgery date. We just met today, February 9th to assess my progress and get cortisone shots. Much to my surprise, not only did I not get the injections, but he told me I had only lost 13 pounds of the stated goal weight and, he refused to do the surgery. Don't go to him.
I would recommend to everyone!
I have to say it was the most efficient and effective office operation I've ever seen: took me right on time, technician took x-rays in4 minutes right in their office suite, then led me to his exam room where the x-rays had already been transmitted and displayed on the screen, and then the doc saw me within 2 minutes... ten minutes later, I felt fully informed and with a game plan.. super impressive.End to end, it was less than 30 minutes...
Oh my gosh I can only say one thing here. He is the best of the best. I had both my knee's done at the same time. I was in my late 70's. I am 80 now. I spent 2 (maybe less) in rehab right there at the hospital. Had a PT in my home for 2 weeks. I was out and about in less then 3 weeks. Today my knee's are still going strong. Can I say I love Dr. Petersilge. Well I do. :)
