Incredible Doctor!! Completed my knee replacement. Procedure went very well. He is friendly and professional. Would strongly recommend him.
Outstanding. The doctor addressed all concerns and answered all questions pre-op, The surgical/hospital experience was far better than I expected. Still doing PT 2x/week and exercising 3x/day to maximize recovery. Walking without a cane and negotiating stairs with only minimal impairment. I see him tomorrow for 6 week follow-up and anticipate that we'll both be satisfied with the results. Thank you, Dr. Petersilge.
Surgery went as well as I had hoped. I had a THR and was off of pain meds after two days. I was walking without a walker or cane after three days. It is now six weeks later and I am walking 1 hour three times daily. The past week I am averaging 20.000 steps per day. I have also started upper body workouts the past week. Except for not being able to bend past 90 degrees and sleeping on my right side yet, I feel better than I have in years.
I saw Dr. Petersilge several times before my total hip replacement. At each visit I didn't feel rushed, he answered all my questions and gave an honest assessment of what the surgery and recovery would be like. Although my initial decision to have surgery was delayed due to covid, once surgery opened again, it all moved quickly. It's now been six weeks since my surgery and I couldn't be happier. I am very satisfied with Dr. Petersilge. I’ve had both knees replacements and he is an awesome doctor. He explained all the pros and cons of having replacement surgery and he was true to his word.
Dr. Petersilge is, quite simply, the equivalent of the finest cognac...his technique is smooth, and goes down ultra easy! His artistry is world class. My husband’s knees are still beautiful with minimal to no scarring. The phenomenal thing here? The surgery he did on one knee on August 24, 2020 is just as superb as the surgery he completed on my husband’s other knee 11 years prior. Dr. Petersilge and Jessica are phenomenal. Had my hip replaced in 2018 and my knee in August. It is obvious this practice is borderline perfect!
