An absolutely wonderful surgeon plus a very nice man. He did my knee replacement in July 2020 and it went like clockwork. Incidentally another family member had his done at the Clinic ten days after my surgery, and I am here to tell you that dr. Petersilge is way better. First, I healed faster, second the heal treatment was the latest 21st century so I could always shower and even get into the pool four weeks after the surgery, so wonderful. Today 6 weeks after I walk without any aid and feel wonderful.

I will never recommend this surgeon or dealing with his office to anyone. They never returned my messages and when they did return they told me to go somewhere else. All I wanted was to get on the surgery waiting list. I had already seen Petersilge twice. The office cancelled the appointment I had to get on the list. I would message them on FB and they would say "call the office" I called the office and their recording said "we're not in the office, leave a message and we'll get back". I am a complex multicondition patient. Dr. P listened, thoughtfully considered all issues and came up with excellent plans for both knees. First allowing me to defer right knee surgery when a brace could address my symptoms, allowing me to adjust to a rapid decline. I was compelled to use a different institution and surgical team because of my other conditions. That knee turned out well but took almost 1 year. There was poor communication. Dr Petersilge replaced my left hip in October 2019, and he recently replaced my right hip in February 2020. I developed a skin infection in early March which required a followup surgery and a 3-day hospital stay while they tracked down the source of the infection. Thanks to Dr Petersilge's quick response to my issue, and daily "conferences" via Force Therapeutics, the infection was caught early and dealt with definitively. Had a TKR December 17, 2020. My experience was good right from the first visit. I felt very comfortable there, felt very informed and my surgery and recovery went better than I expected it would be. Very happy i chose Dr. Petersilge and i have recommended Dr. Petersilge to anyone that asked.

I had my left hip replaced November 25. When recovery took a down turn and now I'm in pain like before surgery, the office could care less. They were in a hurry to make money on surgery. Now, they can't get me in for three weeks. They told me to go to urgent care or somewhere else. I called twice. I recommend finding a doctor who cares about more than money.

My Husband had a knee replacement on Oct 15 2019, the surgery went went well and recovery was good until Feb 2020 when he noticed a large lump on the side of his knee and started having pain radiate down his leg, swelling and warm to the touch. When he called for an appointment he was told it would be March before he could be seen. I called and was told that it was past the 90 days and to go to the emergency room. Dr Petersilge has done my left knee and left hip replacement, and he'll probably be doing my RIGHT hip replacement very soon. I could not be happier with his work, his preparation and follow up. He is second to none when it comes to hips and knees.
