On December 16, 2024 I broke my proximal humerus. I got in to see Dr. Greer on December 19th. He took X-rays and explained I could have surgery but it would heal just as well and fast without it. I opted not to have the surgery since he said if it were him he wouldn’t have the surgery. He NEVER looked at my arm, only the X-ray. He told me to come back the following week. My husband just had a shoulder reversal surgery at Tidelands Waccamaw Hospital by Dr. Greer. The whole procedure from the time we visited his office till now has been first class. I feel like I can call Dr. Greer nurse anytime with questions and she gets back to me. The hospital was great and I being in the Healthcare field are extremely picky and I was so impressed.

Both my wife and I have had very positive experiences with Dr Greer. He is not a typical ortho doc prone to quickly push to a surgery. He will explore other healing processes before taking that step. He's a good listener and communicator.

I had a shoulder repair of my cuff and tendons November 3rd and Dr Greer did a fantastic job still in physical therapy however which I understand can take 4 to 6 months
