I was fortunate enough to have Dr. Nordt as my surgeon. I tore my ACL and I could not have chosen a better surgeon. The very best in my opinion! Dr Nordt has been doing surgeries for decades and he's just an awesome surgeon. He's detailed oriented, he's professional and caring. And of course he's just an excellent surgeon. I'm now on the road to recovery and thrilled and privileged that he was my surgeon! Forever grateful!
First and foremost, Dr. Nordt is an excellent listener, allowing me to explain my symptoms, asking questions only if need be. He then reviewed and explained the details of my (rotator cuff) MRIs and outlined the options open to me. Together we agreed upon the least radical treatment, a new prescription, and discussed alternatve surgery. Will monitor and schedule appointment a few months hence. All in all, very relaxed yet total professional. Very pleased with results.
Dr Nordt is an excellent physician and it is rare to find such a combination of skill and humility. He is also an outstanding communicator who gives patients his best guidance, yet wants us to be in control of our own health.
Dr Nordt has treated me for decades for shoulder repairs. I trust him completely to give me his recommendations and allow me to make the final decisions for treatment course. There have been times of some long waits but I know that he spends the time needed with each patient, so I know I will get that same level of care during my visit.
