Gift Certificate or contest win equals bad service! – I would have left the salon yelling or crying if the esthetician had not been so great. Samantha is the STAR – Love William David Salon (especially the valet parking!), but Samantha Gunn is the star of the show! Hands down, the best colorist in Atlanta. Perfect every time! Nobody else comes close and nobody else touchs my hair...EVER!
Bad Experience – Rubin gave me a completely different (and much shorter) hairstyle than I requested even though I brought in pictures of MYSELF wearing the style. It wasn't a bad haircut, just not at all what I wanted. When I was leaving he pushed me to buy a $28 bottle of shampoo. When I got home, I read the label and found that it was full of sulfates and not usable on my color-treated hair. When I called to complain they refused to credit me for the unusable shampoo. Joshua is FANTASTIC – Today was my first time at William David Salon in Buckhead....and it was a great experience from the moment I walked in. It was easy to valet and walk right in (which they validated for me) The salon was welcoming and very friendly not stuffy or rude. Joshua was my stylist and he was amazing! Sam ROX – I have not highlighted my hair in over a decade and was always trying nutritive treatments for my chestnut colored, fine curly hair. When I decided that what i really needed was texture and decided to go platinum Samantha took me there with confidence and skill! She creates a perfect balance of edgy, not trendy, polished look. Color is her craft!
Samantha Gunn is my savior! – I tried this new salon and they screwed up my hair so bad. my hair was orange when I left there... I didnt know what to do. Joshua did a great job – I went here soley because I had a scoutmob to the place. I had no idea what to expect, but I lucked out with being set-up with Joshua for a cut and color. I don't think a stylist has ever taken such thorough time to listen to me and work on my hair. He even offered for me to come back later to have a training session on how to style my hair for free. I would def go back to him again and work with him. I have fine, curly hair and it's always good to find people who can take on that challenge.
