Why is Dr. Leighton still listed on this site as a top surgeon?? First off he had multiple lawsuits (29+) filed against him along with a TV news investigation. Second, his medical license was surrendered right before he was sent off to a psychiatric facility for a mental-health evaluation. And most importantly, he's DEAD. Be wary of sites proclaiming "the best Doctor." Always do your research on Google, the medical board site and check for lawsuits.
Great surgeon with a really funny persona and great bedside manner.
I'd recommend him to anyone seeking great work from a good man! Very kind and professional and good follow-up.

Shame on you women who choose to change your body and then complain about the Dr. You didn't like your body before you hired him, so that says a lot about you. None of your complaints & law suits can take away the amount of good that Dr. Leighton has done for those who he's treated throughout the years. He is The BEST.
Dr. Leighton was my surgeon fifteen years ago and again two years ago. Yes, there were complications but not his fault and he got me through them. His recall is amazing in that he knows me, knows every detail of my complicated case, and can relay them to his interns without checking my chart. (Is he arrogant? Do not go this doctor. I have had 3 additional surgeries to correct his botched work. He has cost me pain and suffering and a great deal of money. Beware!
