My husband had knee surgery with Dr. Ashford and so have I. We both feel like we received exceptional care and followup from Dr. Ashford, Charli his Nurse Practitioner who mainly works from the Loganville office. I've experienced several set backs after surgery, most due to my multiple auto immune disorders which have interfered with the proper healing after surgery but Dr. Ashford has been on top of the situation at every turn. I feel like I am in exceptional hands at this practice.
It is difficult to find doctors these days that actually take the time to listen to you and get to know you. I have been to other specialists and most of them treat you like another number. Basically a meat factory. Dr. Ashford not only listens, he asks questions and really cares about you. Lastly, when you need surgery, he makes sure to take care of you and does phenomenal work. His office even calls you to make sure you’re doing good after going home. There’s no one better.
Dr. Ashford is super professional and knowledgeable. I appreciated his patience while explaining my issues very clearly in language that I could understand. His staff is top notch. Everyone that I have spoken to in his office has been very helpful and kind. Thank you for a great visit.
The doctor was nice, but I felt that the visit was maybe overly short, and that the focus was too strongly toward me selecting from a slate of expensive injections. I did end up getting the main one he recommended, though from my PCP (as it was included as part of my DPC plan). The shot did nothing. Granted, that was explicitly stated as a possible outcome. But I wish the inspection and diagnosis and such had been more-holistic. I still do not know what the issue with my knee is, and I still have issues with it to this day. ... read more
