The only positive thing I have to say about my visit is about the gentleman that checked me in for my appointment. He was very kind and compassionate. I then waited for an hour to be called back by someone only to sit in a room for another 45 min before X-ray and Dr William a byrd to come in. He had horrible bedside manner. Was unable to show me X-ray. Did not even examine my knee. Even after explaining the injury’s I had in the past with the left knee and the new one I had with the right he told me I had 2 choices…steroid i... read more
Horrible bedside manner! He doesn’t listen to your symptoms nor physically examin your knee. Did an X-ray and gave me 2 options steroid injections which I told him were ineffective. He told me its that or replacement for both knees. He was rude. Please stay away from him if you want to be heard and taken seriously
I have always found Dr. Byrd to be personable, professional, knowledgeable and conscientious.
