WORST PLACE IVE EVER LIVED DO NOT LIVE HERE. Current resident with recent flooding of apartment due to ignored issues and ignored maintenance requests. Started out as constant leaking in utility closet from pipes and resulted in my unit getting flooded with personal belongings damaged. All management could offer is $150 off the next months rent (because I had to pay for a hotel myself to stay in because water was completely shut off) and would not pay for any other damages to personal items. Honest review would be that the price is middle of the road, the location is good, but the maintenance and office staff were unhelpful. In other apartments, I have not had to make as many trips to the office or submit as many requests to get things accomplished. Additionally, on move out there were charges which were unexpected & unexplained. There are better places to live in Birmingham.
I enjoyed living at wild forest but when I moved out they charged me for damages that they could not explain. When I asked about them, they would not provide further information and would not waive the charges. While I enjoyed the apartment overall, I would favor living somewhere else in hindsight.
Maintenance department is incredibly unresponsive as is the front desk. Understaffed. It took 2 weeks to investigate suspected black mold noted upon move in (it was mildew but still alarming). Next, the bathroom sink is clogged - 1 week later, no response or assistance. Unresponsive to multiple calls. The financial payment system is NOT user friendly. Would avoid this apartment conplex.
