The Shepherds pie was fantastic. Fresh cut vegetables and ground venison perfectly seasoned. Highly recommend.
Delicious dinner and fabulous variety of tasty dishes. We love supporting local food! Fantastic staff and very welcoming of our young children. Thanks for making our trip to Boone that much easier and fun!
Pricey but yummy. But they don't plan where to seat people well. We got seated at a 3-4 table when there was 5 of us, luckily a table next to us opened up so we can be more comfy but it took us about 3 hours in total to get our lunch. My chips were too salty to enjoy as well. Waitress was super sweet though.
Great food!!! All four of us had different meals, the meatloaf with balsamic glaze, venison burger with cranberries/goat cheese, the ultimate burger and a good old fashioned burger. They were all great, the restaurant is a little small and a typical hippie-ish vibe but truly not one bad thing to say about the place. The whole menu sounded so enticing we all had a hard time choosing what to eat, no doubt anyting would have been good!
Always fresh and delicious. My daughter and I did our "date night" there. The staff is excellent, feels familiar. We share our food so it was fun to try Jennifer's Thia food, wile I enjoyed my shrimp dish. I love the owners, so that makes it special also to support local. We walked uptown after then over to the Shaefer Center. Park one time and walk, Great location . Eclectic, yet with a fine dining experience.
I found the food was very tasty and pleasing to the eye as well. The Flavor was Grass roots and bold.. I left with a good sense of surprise and satisfaction of a meal very well prepared. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is simple to fix. Service with a attention to pleasing the customer. They need treat every customer like it is there first time experience. Delicious, eclectic, fresh and unique! One of the few places in Boone that I'm actually excited to eat at. I've been going there since it was Angelicas (even when I lived 2 hours away). The cook staff NAILS IT every time (I'm on a mission to try something new each visit). My favorites have been the Roberto Royale (yummy comfort food), the Avocado Tempeh Melt (fav. sandwich), the Quesadilla Bayamo (please bring that one back) and today the Cuzco Cakes (amazing and beautifully presented).
