Thick fries and fancy burgers for the Eastside lunch crowd. – In Short Wibbley's jumps at lunch, with omnivorous Microsofties choosing among numerous above-average burgers. Faced with a full order of fat-cut, skin-on fries alongside a smooth shake topped by a long squirt of whipped cream, who needs a burger? Everyone orders one anyway at this spotless little joint, which affects a vaguely British accent to go with its hunter-green wainscoting, dark floor and ceiling, and walls decorated with prints of sailing ships.
Best burger in the area – I've been going to Wibbley's for a few years now, and their food has been consistent and great. Both the hamburgers and chicken burgers are exceptionally tasty, the fries tasty and fresh, and the shakes are outstanding (try the mocha shake). My only complaint is that there are only stools to sit on (no booths or chairs), and they are not open on Saturday evenings or Sundays!
The perfect burger – I've just never had a "regular" burger any better, period. This isn't your exotic burger place with some massive filet mignon patty or whatever. Just imagine kidd valley but a better, jucier patty, leaner thicker bacon, higher quality ingredients, higher quality beef with irish pub like decor. Cheap $4 for the bacon burger. Can't go wrong. I go twice a month for lunch and everyone at the office wants me to bring something back.
Delicious! – A real hamburger that completely blows away Dicks. Excellent fries. Nice atamosphere. Good service. A little crowded sometimes.
If you like dry meatloaf... – you'll love it here! The burgers are thick, dry and overcooked, and taste like they contain some type of "filler." YUCK! One of the worst hamburgers I've had for years! I have no idea why anyone would eat here. Also, all seats are tall stools, and very uncomfortable.
Best Burgers in Seattle!! – Wibbley's consistently makes the best burger I have had in Seattle. The burgers are cooked fresh to order and have that great charbroiled flavor. The fries are crispy and hot and a full order is plenty big enough for two to share. Try the South of the Border burger with green chilis. The shakes are fabulous, made with fresh ice cream, and you even get a free one on you birthday.
