Hi WHYY, my 82-year old mother and I just spoke this morning. I cant thank you enough for airing the Willie Nelson Gershwin Award via the Library of Congress. She said its not often she finds something she'd consider one of the best shows she's ever seen on TV, but this was it. She really admires Willie Nelson, and absolutely raved about the show, the orchestra, the drummer, and all the instrumental players. She said she went to bed elated, and felt like she'd been there.
