There is the Ohio Ice Cream Trail which has 15 places that are ice cream shops scattered about. We chose Whits in Athens because it was closest to us as we were traveling back to WV. Its in the middle of bustling downtown Athens. The ice cream treats were listed and decisions were hard. Service fast and efficient and our treats were great! Excellent staff and experience!!! Caramel apple was my fav!!!
I love whits but my only recommendation is to have a set ratio for milkshakes. 9/10 I fee like I get chocolate milk instead of a chocolate milkshake.
