The Stars reflect that while the store claims gluten-free favors, it is not gluten or celiac friendly. I was excited to visit because the website indicated that the company has gluten free options and an allergen list. Unfortunately there was not an allergen list at the store. The employees specifically said that the vanilla and chocolate are gluten free but that all favors in the store are cross-contaminated because there are no precautions to keep the two gluten-free favors uncontaminated. Unfortunately, I am unable to locate where you are referencing on our website that we are advertising to be a "gluten free" establishment and have an allergen list. (We do have nutrition facts available upon request at the store. I am also happy to email this to you if you would like.) We are here on vacation and decided to give Whit's a try. The custard was great but the cone was completely empty . Being served a hollow cone without the custard was a first for me. Had I known I would have purchased another scoop & asked them to fill the cone.

Hi Cindy, We are sorry to hear your experience at Whit's was not 100% positiive. We would like to make it up to you! First, please let us explain why your cone was empty. We do not serve a "soft-serve" product as many ice cream/yogurt/frozen custard establishments do. It is easier with a soft serve product to fill the base of a cone. With our frozen custard, we scoop the product, which really requires it to sit on your cone. We cannot push it inside the cone otherwise it would it break.
