Was routinely paddled, slapped around, and sometimes all out beaten and abused by the so-called "House Parents" at this institue for the "troubled youth" of Indiana. They abused us in the name of the Lord and were awful people in general. Back then they also pretended to be religious and holy. But in reality, they made our lives horrible. Hated it. I was abused at this place almost everyday during 1974, what an awful place to be sent at..I mean I was beat with leather straps and paddles with holes in them so they make noise when you got whipped...I still think of this place because I can't get it out of my head of what all they did to me, and my sister and many others...
