A very quaint place. The food was fabulous. A time capsule one should look into.
We are from the lower part of Michigan but will be sending allot of time in lake George next year and were recommended to try out this small place called the 'white house". My grown son, husband, and myself all decided to venture in for lunch. We all ordered something different and none of us were disappointed. Friendly staff, great home atmosphere, will definitely be back. So many more menu items to try.

We love the White House. The food is good, prepared right in front of you (lilke dinner with a floor show.) The building is so cute! We like to support small local businesses, so the White House is right up our alley.
Beautiful historical restaurant. A treasure to find these days. Friendly patrons explained the small seating enironvement and we gladly took our turn in the red bench for next in line. Our wait was less than 15 mintues. Our service was prompt and kind. Our burgers we're delicious, hand packed and cooked perfect. We drove close to 2 hours and will gladly return. This establishment was founded in 1935 and is a true rare gem.
First time there and really enjoyed it. The wife and I always search out places like this and we weren't disappointed! Great burgers and onion rings and the people were very friendly. We will definitely be back.
