This is well worth our drive (an hour and a half). The huge menu and adorable atmosphere mixed with kind hearted staff makes this restaurant not only a must visit, but a must revisit location.
Stop every now and then, but I take a lot of crap from friends when I get a burger and fries cause "everyone" knows their breakfasts are the tops!!!! Love the place!!
Great little burger joint. Super friendly service. Our food was ready fast and hot and delicious! Very reasonably priced too. The restaurant is a great little slice of Americana!
Great burgers, chili and the breakfast menu is just as great as their lunch menu.
This place is terrific. I love the little holes in the wall. 6 booths inside, could not sit outside as it is Michigan in December. But, I will be back for sure!. Food was quick and just perfect. The cook has been there has been there 47 years. She has got it nailed.
I totally enjoyed my mushroom Swiss burger and onion rings. My friend had the bacon cheeseburger and loved it. The people just make this place work! Where else would you ever find cooks working the grill at the same place for 37 & 47 years? Absolutely recommend a stop here and don't be shy! Talk to the employees...they are terrific!
I wish I could rate you guys so much more than just five stars. Everyone I bring to the whitehouse absolutely adores the food and I’ve been a regular for seven years. Since moving to St Johns I have never been able to find a restaurant or burger I love more than this place: food wise and service wise.
