Pulte made a huge mistake by turning over their property management to Whitehall. First, the maintenance of our properties is less than sub par. The grass is cut on a as needed basis I guess. Never know when the crew will show up. Sometimes Whitehall likes to skip a week, however our dues cannot be skipped. What happens to that extra $$ they are not paying for maintenance. This HOA unfortunately manages the beautiful Reserve at Crystal Lake neighborhood in Commerce Township. We were requested to submit our landscaping project within "the next 2 weeks" to avoid penalties. Upon meeting their deadline, we never heard back from them and it has been 16 days. Very disappointed with this HOA. Communication is terrible, problems are rarely resolved properly, and dealing with management has been frustrating. On top of that, they continue hiring the worst contractors who do low quality work and create even more issues for residents. There is very little accountability, poor follow up, and no sense of urgency when concerns are raised.
I wish I could take stars away from the 1 they somehow have (probably because google makes you give them a pity star to even write a review). Brand new community in Commerce they refuse to ever help with and no matter how much proof is given by 90%+ of the community. They never enforce rules and because of them, the community goes downhill fast. Hire them if you like to pay higher dues each year while things actually get worse
