The owners are so sweet and they have some of the best homemade fudge I've ever had! Definitely worth stopping by to get some.
Plenty of gear in stock for renting, and the fudge is to die for! Perfect place to spend the afternoon, or a night after a long day shredding on the slopes.

Our room was beautiful, cozy mountain decor. Wood floors, chalet style. The view is a panorama of Grandfather Mountain, Sugar Mountain and Beech. Delightful stay! Can't wait to return. In addition the restaurant serves delicious BBQ and has a gift shop filled with Beech Mountain T Shirts, hats and homemade fudge!
I got to go inside yesterday and look around. It is super. We can't wait for the restaurant to open and headed back today to buy something I saw that I can't live without.. Beech Mountain so needed this type of place run by wonderful people who care about the mountain and the people. Stop and see Laura. They have all kinds of equipment to rent and I am young enough at 70 to try the stand up paddle board!!! maggie
Had a wonderful stay here last night. Laura and Larry are so wonderful! It was hospitality at its finest. They even prayed for us before we left this afternoon. Can't wait to go back soon!
Larry and his family were amazing! They made so much effort to keep the spirit of OZ alive when so many of us were heart broken. Lodge is beautiful, customer service is pure heart!! This is where I will spend my money next visit. Thank you for giving us a bright spot in our rainy weekend!
