I was the parent of a patient admitted in late June 2016. No complaints at all... Emergency room nursing staffing were very good as well as the nursing staff when she was moved to a room.
Very pleasant staff. They are caring and attentive. Only hospital I will go to if I have to.
I was rushed to WPH from Burke Rehab where I do Cardio workout....had a quad by pass Feb. 1...I stated feeling strange while driving from Yonkers to Burke, and upon arriving there, I told them what / how I was feeling. They got me right to WPH and through the ER, I was admitted. Now, I have spent more then my fair share of time in hospitals, and this has been the BEST place ever. My 96 yr old father was recently at WPH for over a week. Thanks to the outstanding care he received from the doctors and nurses from the emergency room to the 3rd floor, he is making an excellent recovery in rehab and expected to return home soon. I cannot say enough about the entire staff at WPH, the doctors, nurses, tech, and general staff. Everyone always had a smile and was very responsive to our questions. Worst care given ever in er for pancreatitis doctor gives morphine then discharged me I'm doped on pain meds and benadryl. If anything happens he's getting a lawsuit filled
