Incredible food and amazing staff very friendly amazing service
Great English Pub and restaurant. We came here at the suggestion of a friend....Wow...are we glad we did! We were treated like we were in their personal home. Food was authentic and excellent! !!!!!!
Literally one of the most impressive places I've ever been to. Feels like you've been transported straight to England. Not only is the atmosphere and environment cozy and comfortable, the food, and most importantly the staff were absolutely amazing. The service there was the best I have ever received from anywhere I have ever gone. I was the guy that came in with two Italians, a Spaniard and an American, I was seeking the true British Pub atmosphere and food, it even smells like a true British pub ! I cannot fault any part of it. I had bangers and mash ( The cockney), put simply it was just like my Mum used to make. Nice to be in a pub with no TV's and to be able to chat. We grew up in England and LOVE going to the White Lyon, it really feels like a pub. Peter is a great server!
I'm convinced this place contains a secret wormhole straight to England. Stepping through the door is stepping into a different world entirely. Like an English cottage, the rooms have a homey feel, with carved antique furniture, vintage fixtures, and a wealth of distracting "artefacts" everywhere you look. Prices are more than reasonable. We are retired military and we live in England for about 12-13 years and loved it! When we discovered that there was a pub called The White Lion we went. It feels like I'm right back in England! We have been able to give our family just a small view of what it is like there! The staff is outstanding, the food is amazing and the atmosphere is awesome! I love this place!!
They were wonderful people there and definitely you get the English feel when you are there with atmosphere and food! Hope to go back again!
