A room's reverberation is the result of multiple reflections between opposite boundary surfaces. The time it takes for the reverberation to die out is considered to be the room's reverberation time or RT. This is no ordinary sound room: the floor, walls, and ceiling are completely covered with irregularly shaped panels, apparently an effecting form of acoustical treatment.
