Poor responsiveness and communication from the office. Care seems fine, but getting prescriptions is a headache and a half.
Very happy with the care our dog gets at Whipple Avenue Pet Hospital. We take our dog annually, have had sedated teeth cleaning and my dog was just seen for severe gastrointestinal issues. We saw Dr. Kethavath for our dog’s gastrointestinal issues and he has excellent bed side manner. He recommending supportive care at home which worked well for us and was less expensive than emergency care. He followed up with test results as promised. Boy I can't say enough good things about Whipple Avenue Pet Hospital. I've been a client with Whipple Avenue Pet hospital going on 25 years or more. They've taken care of at least four of my Labrador Retrievers (all rescues with unknown backgrounds and medical histories) over the years. The Vets and Veterinary Assistants are always attentive, ask the right questions, suggest helpful ways to protect our four-footed ones from Heartworm and other potential risks. This is a corporate owned veterinary clinic, sub-standard at best. Currently, there is one vet, Kayla, who pretends she can read a FNA cytology for $150. She of course could not and presented me with a quote for additional $433 …this time it was for a real pathologist. It’s a long story… needless to say: “run .. don’t walk”! They are scamming folks and can’t practice even halfway decent medicine let alone ethical. I am not done with them. I am livid!
