My dog had his annual exam with Dr. Balgooyen and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! She was gentle, thorough, and took her time to explain everything in a way that made me feel completely at ease. Her staff and particularly Tiffany, was just as wonderful-welcoming, patient, and clearly great with animals. It’s such a relief to have found a vet who truly cares. Highly recommend!
Refused to schedule a simple vaccine for my dog unless I paid for an unnecessary “annual exam” ($94), despite my dog having a full exam one month ago at another hospital. They wouldn’t accept the records and kept pushing extra charges. Felt money driven and inflexible, not dog focused. Very disappointing experience. Would not recommend.
I took my dog to this place thinking that I would get in and out for under $100 but that wasn’t the case. The vet started telling me about things outside that could make Max sick and me as well and said that he needed this vaccine and that vaccine so seeing how much I care for him I said go ahead and give him the vaccines not knowing it was going to cost me nearly $300 before he was done and then they tried to convince me that he needed nearly $3000 in teeth cleaning. I have nothing but good things to say about this place and the staff here. I’ve been bringing my dog here for around 3 years (and most recently a new puppy!) and they are super comfortable with everyone! Dr Suen listens to every concern we have and always gives us multiple options when considering treatment. We have been lucky with our both our dog’s health so far, but any small concern has been addressed super quickly.
