Dr. Wheeler is an excellent dentist. She's warm, personable, and provides exceptional care. She explained what she was doing and helped calm my nerves about the dental procedure.

As far as her Dentistry it is excellent. However this office gave me an estimate based on my dental coverage and when I got my bill in the mail it was 600.00 more than quoted. That is a big surprise, come to find out they don’t even call the dental insurance to check coverage, they just fax to make sure the person is still actively covered. This is the only dentist I have been to that doesn’t call the insurance to get estimates. So I call to talk this over and basically it was tough luck.

Came back to after having an insurance change with my job. Previous wait times were longer. Had someone with little experience for my first visit. She seemed very nervous taking my X-rays. Was told I needed a procedure and would have to make another appointment to get it done. Made another appointment for about a month out but ask to be put on the wait list to move it up. I was able to get back within a week. Upon re-exam, I did not truly need the more expensive procedure. Thanks so much.

I came to Dr Wheeler after a couple of bad experiences with an infected tooth that needed a root canal. I have a fear of dentists and low pain tolerance. Dr. Wheeler and her assistant Lori were very gentle and explained everything in detail. There were issues with my tooth (no fault of Dr Wheeler's) that required another surgical procedure but she is persistent (and a little OCD) and got it done right. And with almost no pain.
