My husband had an appointment today. When I made the appointment I was clear it was for double vision (after being transferred to at least 3 different people on the phone). Their scheduler rattled off some general information which was basically scripted which is fine. The 1st girl we saw did some minor eye tests and went over current medications. I am writing to formally address a profound and unacceptable failure in patient care and communication regarding my elderly relative’s scheduled surgery. We extended grace after the first last-minute rescheduling due to clinic conflicts.
