RecommendedI cannot say enough good things about Dr Chris and staff - w lost two Aussies this past year and they were treated like princes here for over 11 years - now we have a 6 yr bulldog and a new Aussie and I wouldn’t trust my furbabies w any other Vet! So caring and sincerely loves our pets! Highly recommend! Hands down the best!
The other day a dog was taken in their care and under their supervision the dog ran out of the building which is on 59. The owner, her friends, her family and even strangers spent hours looking for her dog.... the vet did nothing to help. To make it all worse, after hours and hours of her dog missing, they found her but unfortunately she was hit by a car on 59. She was only a couple years old! It breaks my heart.... I will never bring my pets here and I think others should highly consider the same.
I work in the veterinary industry and have been taking my two dogs to Wheatland for over 13 years. Sadly last week I lost my almost 12-year-old English bulldog. Wheatland could not have been more supportive. I know all of their care through the years are some of the reasons my dogs have lived such long and happy, healthy lives!! Thank you for all that you guys do, especially through all the stress this pandemic has placed on you!
Our dog Sadie was there last week to receive a dental procedure under anesthesia and the whole experience couldn’t have gone more smoothly from drop off to pick up. The assistants were awesome! They notified us when surgery began, explained what to expect, gave us after care instructions with copies of her X-rays, and called us to follow-up before they left for the night. We love everyone there!!
A dog is dead due to their lack of training of their people. They don’t let the owners in with the dog and then better yet they let the dog loose who ended up running away and ultimately got hit by a car! Didn’t even help locate the run away dog. If that doesn’t tell you how awesome the care for their pets is, have at it. With my post I am hoping I can save another family pet/companion/best friend from being lost due to the careless staff at this place. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE OFFICE!!! They let a dog get loose from their care and didn’t even go to find the dog! Complete lack of care and safety for the pet and it has passed away. I will NEVER recommend this vet to anyone!!! STAY AWAY!!!
First time there with new puppy. I was hesitant about not being able to go in with him. But, I was so impressed how they handled it! Dr. Drewno called me twice while he was inside AND called me the next day to make sure all was well. This is our first dog in 27 years so I had lots of questions and she was SO patient even though they were very busy. We are looking forward to our next puppy appointment on Monday!
Best staff. Love Dr Chris. The entire staff is super friendly and very professional and eager to help with any questions. All the vets are up on latest technology and the best ways to treat your family pet.
Unfortunately, after 15 years we have chosen another vet. 4 dogs including 3 from puppy stages, 2 cremations and when we ask them to send over our animals records they don’t even inquire why, I think that speaks volumes.
