I’ve been here for about a year and a half, and I don’t really have much complaints. During the day it does seem to get a little hotter but we’ve managed. Maintenance has always been helpful to me even one time I needed help w my car and he helped me when he really didn’t need to! I really enjoyed living at West Wind Apartments, the location and community were great. However, I cannot recommend them due to how they handle move-out charges. After leaving my apartment super clean (management literally said so), they tried to charge me $900+ for carpet replacement, claiming the carpet was “black.” I have videos before and after showing that isn’t true. it feels like they are making tenants pay for standard wear and tear, something that should already be part of their turnover process. The worst, grossest, most dishonest place to live. They will say whatever you want to make it sound inviting and pleasing and welcome and open. For starters all of the walls have roaches. Pest control coming in and squirting once or twice will do literally nothing. Also they do not keep their words or don't listen to anything they say unless you get it in formal writing, THEY WILL LIE! The office will definitely lie, change their words, and jump at the opportunity to take your money! Get everything in physical writing---signed! Or better yet, don't live here! They walk into your apartment whenever they feel like it, sometimes they don't even knock. The roaches are bad---pest control is a joke. The bedrooms do not have lights or celing fans, they have switches that do literally nothing. Any issue you may have will not be a priority--- until it comes time to pay! Disgusting all around. The woman at the front desk has lied about so many tenants, and lied TO the tenants, and after asking around, she has caused sooo many individuals and families to move out, and caused many evictions. Also the bug problem is really bad, not to mention the bad smells that you can never find. Poor lighting all around the house, and the rooms don't even have light fixtures.
