Three brothers Richard, Bernard, & James grew up together on the North side of Youngstown in the Briar Hill area. Richard had a love of cars and a desire to know the ins and outs of all vehicles. I only use WST at 2408 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown. Rich and his team always treat me right! Also, waiting area is spotless, with fresh coffee, reading material, and clean restroom amenities. Today i rcvd a free tire patch up :)
No one wants a flat, especially in unfamiliar territory, in the pouring rain, with a packed car, halfway through a 10 hour trip, but that’s what happened to me today. I’m grateful I found West Side Tire and Service, a professional, friendly, caring, helpful group of people. Rich did a great job listening to my problems and concerns and quickly suggesting solutions. Discovered I had a flat tire at 9:30am on Saturday December 23rd, as I was trying to make it home for Christmas. AAA was slammed with calls but still managed to pick me up just before 11:00am and my driver was able to get ahold of this wonderful tire and service shop who stayed open passed their posted hours to make sure I got my tire replaced and was able to make it home to my family in Pittsburgh for Christmas. Forever grateful to these guys for helping me get home when no one else in town could do it!

I have been going to West Side Tire more than 30 years. The work is always done right the first time at a fair price. I never have to second guess myself on taking my vehicles there. They have had mostly the same crew working there for many years so the consistency and dependability of work never changes. It is a family run business that will make you feel at home when you are there. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

These guys are the absolute best !!! My father has been doing business with them for 25 years and has sent me there for tires - BUT this week I had to be a big girl and get new tires all by myself ( my Dad passed away ) I didn't even hesitate to call them - my father always said - "they are the most honest shop in town " !!!! they were so nice and explained everything to me and sold me exactly what I needed.....I am not one to buy a warranty on things BUT I did with my new tires because I will continue my fathers loyalty to ... read more
