I had a mastectomy and reconstruction surgery. The staff was wonderful from the intake to the discharge. My family was allowed to stay a little past visiting hours as my husband got off late from work and my daughter loved the fact that they provided a guest meal tray. It allowed her to have dinner with me. The nurses were sweet but strict. Overall an enjoyable visit all things considered.
Double mastectomy and I had reconstruction there. It was so nice to be treated like a person. My family wanted for nothing. Nice staff.
It takes one person to make the rest look not so good... The nurse that was taking care of me post surgery. . Was very rude and a total Bitch. Other than that. Everyone else was great

My experience at Westside Hospital was outstanding. It felt like I was staying at a hotel. The doctors and nurses treated me like I was their only patient that day. Dr. Shenaq and Dr. Dempsey are amazing surgeons and you can tell that they are passionate about what they do. The nurses were so gentle, loving, and patient. I was shocked at how quickly my body recovered. Thank you all for taking good care of me.
