Communication between nurses, my surgeon, nurse’s assistants and whoever else was assigned to my care was sorely lacking. From the moment I woke up from my hip replacement and during my entire 2 night and 3 day stay, I had no pain control. And nobody cared. Once I had to get up to use the bathroom myself because nobody came after I pressed the call button. The case manager is useless. Not really sure why he came into my room. Since December Dr Rojas the Colon Rectal Dr is been telling me I need surgery for a Fistula I have. I came to emergency on Thursday at 6am with abscess in my skin very painful because of the fistula. The residents of Dr Rojas came and told me they was trying to accommodate me to have surgery the next day. One hr later they came and told me the OR dont have space and they wanted to discharge me but to call to their office to schedule the surgery as soon as possible.
