Dr. Ortiz and staff are wonderful! Appointments are timely, they've been so helpful and patient with a tween learning to wear contacts, and they see children- a huge plus!
All the reviews of Dr. Ortiz being a fantastic doctor are accurate and I would recommend this facility! I just think if you have an anxiety disorder like me it might be good to have someone with you to speak up on your behalf so she knows what you want. I had trouble insisting on discussing the option of daily contacts. I didn’t get that type prescribed last time so I went a year without ordering contacts. I came in because I was experiencing burning and blurred vision. I went to the emergency room prior and they weren’t much help. I saw that Westside Eye Center had 5 stars so I decided to call. They got me in the same day on short notice. Come to find out, I had a chemical burn to my cornea due to eyelash products. She gave me the proper medication, also did an eye test since I wanted to see if I needed glasses. Dr Ortiz was patient, calming and reassured me my eyes would be better. I recommend her to everyone.
I visited this eye care center after having trouble reading road signs at night. The doctor checked my vision thoroughly and explained the results in a simple way. The waiting time was slightly longer than expected, but the staff remained polite throughout the visit.
