We are having the windows and siding replaced on our house which was built in 1994 by Toll Brothers. We are the original owners. As part of installing the Master Bedroom windows, they cut through an active electrical line that HAD BEEN RUN BETWEEN THE SIDING AND HOUSE WRAP. This is an extremely dangerous situation employed by Toll Brothers when the house was built. As it was, it caused damage to the worker's saw with the electrical arcing that occurred. Zero stars! Bad project manager at Townes at Chester Springs. Vehicles block driveways and roads. Constant parking on streets, which is a fire lane. Refuses to address warranty issues timely and correctly the first time. Poor customer service for warranty issues by construction manager and project manager.

i have same complaint as MK , they coax us into tbi mortgage and charge 1% fee , even if the rate lock expires they force u to go with them and dont offer competitive interest rates , verbally they give misleading information .

To anyone looking at buying a Coleman home, be cautious. The first year we were in our house was good but quickly went downhill after our warranty was up. About a year and a half to two years in, our microwave went out and we had to completely replace it which included uninstalling it from over the stovetop. Microwaves should last 8-10 years. 3 years after moving in, our A/C unit motor went out costing us hundreds of dollars in the middle of summer. A motor should last 10-15 years. It’s not A+ at all. It all depend which construction manager u get. I find our construction manager very very un professional. Moved in my home last year and still finding things that THE BUILDER SHOULD PROVIDE in our home BUT IT WAS NEGLECTED LIKE The rectangle cement piece underneath the gutters. Like Ac duct in design of home but home owner noticed and ask for it to make Ac duct. Like when u turned on master bathroom tub tap water start coming out cause faucet is not in the tub all the way. Where do I begin? Me and my wife made the biggest mistake of our lives. We signed our contract with toll and they didn't start building or in communication for over a year. When we finally were able to talk to someone all they said were permits this permits that but when I asked to see when they were dated they ignored US. We have been out of a home for almost 2 years with a 3 year old and a new born because we didn't want to sign a lease and then have to pay a mortgage and a lease agreement. TBI Mortgage has done the unthinkable. I was mandated to apply for a loan through TBI Mortgage as a "backup" in case I lose an outside lender loan. I started this process in Early April. On April 17th, I filed a request to use an outside lender with the sales department. Early on, the TBI lender let me know I had to fill out all the documentation and send it to him within 14 days. He offered a $5k incentive to use them as a lender, but I only filled out the documentation because I had to. It is beyond frustrating to have to ... read more

First, let me say the the houses are nice. And the sales experience prior to closing was great, I had zero complaints. It wasn't until after closing when I started to realize how much toll brothers does not care about their customers. My main complaint is with Tom their construction manager. His contractors continuously park and block my driveway. When I approached the contractors and asked them to move, they flat out tell me no. Toll Brothers is building us a house in the development called Liseter in Newtown Square, Pa and they have reduced the size of the garage to a point that prevents us from getting two cars into the garage. They say they had to do that to meet set back requirements however they never notified us of that change. They had to be aware of those setbacks to have the property approved by the township prior to starting construction. Now, six months after construction started we've discovered this change by chance.
