Came with Tinnitus from TMJ and through a consult and have seen 60-70% reduction at least with what Dr. Borquez has recommended (one of which being a night guard for clenching).
Very knowledgeable and experienced problem solving physician. Someone that will listen and come up with solutions. Highly recommended.
I came to Dr Borquez with acute TMJ and lockjaw (only two fingers opening). Dr Borquez was able to expedite an MRI, gave me immediate exercises, cream and medicine to relieve pain and in a follow up appointment was able to perform a procedure to unlock my jaw, I was literally in tears from the relief! Very dangerous doctor. He does not read and review profiles before doing evaluation. I was finally out of pain and just needed a new bite plate. He proceeded to make me go back to square one with TMJ pain! My mom and I were trying to talk and say he was putting me in pain; he kept telling us to be quiet and we don’t know what my situation is.
