I came to Dr Borquez with acute TMJ and lockjaw (only two fingers opening). Dr Borquez was able to expedite an MRI, gave me immediate exercises, cream and medicine to relieve pain and in a follow up appointment was able to perform a procedure to unlock my jaw, I was literally in tears from the relief! Very dangerous doctor. He does not read and review profiles before doing evaluation. I was finally out of pain and just needed a new bite plate. He proceeded to make me go back to square one with TMJ pain! My mom and I were trying to talk and say he was putting me in pain; he kept telling us to be quiet and we don’t know what my situation is. Dr Borquez is such a wonderful doctor. I went to him for a 2nd opinion on my TMJ and unlike the first dr - he solved 95% of my unbearable pain in 2 visits. He is so thorough and caring with his patients. He takes his time and answers as many questions as necessary. I can't thank Dr Borquez and his team enough - they are the best.
