Extremely disappointed with the care my mom received in the ER yesterday. Questions were not answered, concerns were not addressed properly, poor bedside manors (with exception of the doctor and X Ray tech), judgement was passed, and directions were not properly given as there is major construction causing confusing and added stress. In addition, the nurse deliberately RAISED HER VOICE at myself and my mom (her patient). �

Was in the ER yesterday for severe chest pains. The staff was wonderful! Always making sure I was comfortable and asking if I needed anything while I was waiting for test results. Unfortunately, the nurse had a hard time getting an iv in, and she kept apologizing, which was nice. It wasn't really her fault, though, since my veins wouldn't cooperate (as usual. My young son was involved in dirt bike accident at the Cedar Lake Arena on Saturday. We stopped in your ED before making the four hour drive home. From the minute we stepped foot in the ED, we were greeted with friendly, professional health care providers. My son was upset and uncomfortable, and they were able to put him at ease. Dr Salam was amazing. Very knowledgeable, personable and great with children. I knew he had our sons best interest in mind. I saw Dr. Melby, who did my surgery, and absolutely outstanding care from him and his nurse Michelle! They definitely went above and beyond my expectations! The lab tech was just as kind and considerate on helping me out!
